Residential Cultured Marble Shower Restoration | D'Sapone

There’s Never Been a Better Time to Restore your Cultured Marble Shower

D'Sapone Admin, April 14, 2017

Most all cultured marble showers are stained and etched by a heavy build up of soap scum. We are able to take your tile and grout to a new level creating an incredible look, eliminating all the hard water dots and bar soap with our patented cultured marble cleaning process. We will remove all the stains and prevent their occurrence with a 5 year labor warranty. Learn more about our restoration processes listed below…

Cleaning and Sanitizing Cultured Marble:

Notice in the image, how clean the culture marble basin is. Applying an epoxy or enamel finish at the top of the surface will peel and wear off overtime. We never use these products. Our artists have sprayed Benaz – an incredibly designed cleaner, to the shower basin shown below. Unlike regular products, Benaz removes all the hard water stains, mold, mildew, etching and soap scum without damaging the stone tile and grout.

Waterproofing Grout with a Pigmented Titanium Sealer:

Grout fills voids between the cultured marble tiles. It is very porous and sometimes, just grout cleaning doesn’t remove all the stains. We lock out the stains and also prevent future staining issues for a lifetime with Caponi®, which not only seals the grout, it makes the surface look beautiful with its sleek and beautiful finish. Caponi® – a two part pigmented titanium epoxy/resin sealer, makes the grout waterproof. It comes in more than 40 color options to match the current grout color. Caponi® is also chemical resistant.

Coating Cultured Marble with a Clear Topical Resin Sealer:

Not only do we make the grout stainproof, we also prevent stains, etching and mold from taking place on the stone with our quality cultured marble sealing process. We coat the surface using Celine – a clear topical solvent based resin sealer. It penetrates into the tile while creating that perfect lush protection. Celine delivers a hydrophobic appearance to the cultured marble and adds a slight sheen to it, making the shower look beautiful.

Replacing the Caulk with Sentura:

We never fuse caulk in shower corners as it peels overtime and renders a bulky aspect on the surface. We fill all the corners using Sentura – a two part pigmented flexible solvent based epoxy/resin. It will never wash out of the joints and will protect your shower from stains and mold with its natural lines. We can pigment it in over 40 colors to suit your needs.

Enjoy a cultured marble shower without mold, mildew, stains and etching.
