Healthy Floor Cleaning Service | D'Sapone

Enjoy a Healthy Floor with a Long Time Warranty

D'Sapone Admin, March 3, 2017

Keeping the look of a floor was a tough job as it gets a lot of wear and tear. Acidic cleaners, cool drinks and coffee stain the floor, diminishing the value of the surface. They also peel or wear off the tile and grout that becomes a feeding ground for bacteria, which is unhealthy for humans.

Floor Restoration

Knowing exactly what the best restoration service is for the surface is very important information anyone will need to get the job done well. And it depends on exactly what kind of tile has been installed on your floor. Don’t know what services your floor needs? No worries, we will do and will put together our ‘Healthy Floor’ processes for you. Not only do we perform restorations, we always carry a 5 year labor warranty on our services. Learn more about our floor restoration processes listed below…

Cleaning, Prepping and Sanitizing Tile and Grout:

Most companies perform floor cleaning with steam machines or regular cleaners from big box stores, selling low cost products that are easy to work with. But, they remove stains only at the top of the surface while damaging the integrity of the tile and grout. We release all the deep stains, mold, mildew, bacteria and existing sealers while prepping and sanitizing the floor with Imperia – a patented cleaner developed by our experts in the lab.

Repairing the Cracked Tile and Grout with Sentura:

Re-grouting and replacing the cracked tile with the new tile is a band-aid solution with an unpleasant appearance. We are able to repair the cracks with Sentura – a two part pigmented flexible solvent epoxy/resin, which is designed with a 1200psi adhesion. Before we apply it, we pigment it according to the current tile or grout color and then we blend the crack into the surface. Sentura makes the floor look elegant and protects it for a lifetime.

Protecting Grout with Pigmented Titanium:

Grout is a concrete based material, covering the voids between tiles on the floor. Once the grout has been cleaned, it still may have bacteria, mold or stains since it is very porous and allows the passage of liquids very easily. We lock out the stains and control their occurrence with our incredible grout sealing process. Applying Caponi® to the surface not just seals the grout, it makes everything better. Caponi® is a chemical resistant sealer formulated with a two part pigmented titanium resin. We color match the product to the current grout color making the surface look natural.

Natural Stone Tile Sealing with Natural Look Sealers:

Natural stone – travertine, marble or slate, needs to be sealed with high quality sealers, keeping its look and durability. Unsealed natural stone tiles can lose their luster in a short order as they continuously absorb moisture, causing stains and the growth of mold. We coat the surface with Repela-Bond – an invisible clear resin water based sealer, or Celine – a clear topical solvent based natural look sealer. Both products deliver a bold hydrophobic appearance to the stone tiles while soaking deep into the floor.
