Sealing shower stone
on an epic scale.
Stone showers in Atlanta have become very popular. Natural stone retains moisture, causing mildew issues. Sealing stone showers with solvent penetrating sealers is the best method. Water based sealers will not last.
Sealing travertine stone
Stopping the growth of mold is the first step. Do not be fooled contractors using steam machines, which only kills mold on the surface. Travertine is porous and when left unsealed, it will retain moisture and mold will soak deep into the stone. We use natural chemicals that penetrate into the stone to eliminate the mold.

Sealing slate showers by your Atlanta tile experts.
Slate tile is used in showers for beautiful nature. Slate has a very great future, it’s not acid sensitive and the surface will not etch with harsh chemicals. We still use solvent sealers to protect the stone from mildew and efflorescence issues.

The high-end stone… marble.
We see the polished stone everywhere. Marble is the stone people love to use in showers as well. It is acid sensitive that’s why harsh cleaners ruin the polished marble. Even the citric acid used in soaps can etch it. We can protect your marble from being etched and attacked by mold.

Questions about sealing shower stone?
Here are our answers.
What sealer does D'Sapone® apply to marble, slate, travertine and limestone?
We apply Celine – a clear solvent sealant designed with resin. Celine also delivers a slight sheen to the stone.
Will you seal my stone without changing its appearance?
Yes. We will seal your stone with Repela-Bond – a clear solvent natural look sealant.
Why does D'Sapone® not apply water based sealers?
We offer warranties for a long time and water based sealers are not suitable for the shower environment. No matter what the contractor is saying, these types of sealers will always fail.
Your stone sealer can also seal my grout?
Of course, but we highly prefer Caponi®, a 2 part solvent titanium resin grout sealer, to seal the grout. All the grout will be in the same color.
Do D'Sapone®’s sealers have an odor?
Yes. pFOkUS®’ chemist fragrances the smell with cherry.
How long should we wait to use the shower after the sealant application?
You should wait for 24 hours to allow the sealer to penetrate deep beneath the slate, travertine, marble or limestone.
Do other companies apply pFOkUS®’ sealants?
Yes. But only we have exclusive rights to the cleaners and sealers in the areas we service.
We offer excellent restoration service and we are passionate about our job opposite to the typical contractors.
