After the travertine has been cleaned, all the stone pores are open that allow the occurrence of stains and mold easily. We coat the surface using Repela-Bond – an invisible clear resin water based sealer. It penetrates into the stone while closing its pores, but it doesn’t 100% prevent the passage of acids or liquids as the sealer allows the travertine to breathe.
