Untreated slate tiles can be a curse for the entire surface as they continuously absorb moisture in wet settings, causing mold and stains. However, dust comes out from the stone in dry settings. Our solvent based sealer eliminates these issues permanently with a long time warranty.

Our artists utilize Celine – a clear resin sealer from pFOkUS® to perform a slate tile sealing in NYC. It adds a slight sheen to slate delivering a bold hydrophobic experience and cuts down on the humidity preventing mold, mildew and stains from taking place in showers. Notice in the image below, the top slate tile is sealed that has a waterproofed surface, while the bottom is untreated and is absorbing the liquid.

You strive for that sanitized slate surface with easy maintenance and we achieve this with Repela-Bond – an invisible clear resin sealer. It soaks deep into the stone while delivering a hydrophilic appearance to the surface. Repela-Bond prevents slate from staining and allowing the occurrence of mold.
